Dogs water and allergies

Hello folks,

My boxer Magic who has bad allergies has been great for three weeks! We tried all different types of food and shots with little to no luck. We have hard water in the town I live in and we as a family never use it to drink or cook with. I never thought it would do any harm to my dog since the last boxer we had never had a problem with it nor does our other boxer.

I started it about a two months ago (not thinking this was the problem) and for the past three weeks Magic has had little to no scratching. His hair and coat no longer bleeds from his constant scratching. His sleeping is much better and we as a family are much happier. We have watched him very closely and this is the only time he's ever made it this long with out scratching while NOT on steroids.

Both dogs only get bottled water now (cheap kind too) and I'm hoping to make another post at the three month period. Crossing my fingers this was the problem from the start! If you have any questions about your water change it over today!

Bill

Wow! I wouldn't have even thought about the water. That's very interesting! Thanks for the info.
