Senior Boxer needing home-Maryland

Hi all, I am fostering a senior boxer, neutered, housebroken, crate trained. Good with other dogs. He has energy when you want to run,but will also lay at your feet and relax. Ok with children, but loves to chase after them and play..so older teens would be better. Foster mom reports that he is very quiet and hasn't made a sound, no barking heard from him yet. He's a Tall boy and very strong. He was a stray that was found about 3yrs ago. The vet estimates him to be around 8-10yrs old. He was kept by a family in hopes of finding him a home, but they can no longer keep him. They kept him in a root cellar basement for long periods of time, and as a result he has some skin issues that the vet is treating.

He is getting some treatment from our vet for some mouth cysts/tumors and he's very underweight. Before he can go to a new home, these issues will be taken care of. But we are starting the process of finding him a home now.

He is a super sweet boy who just needs a home and some love.
Thank you so much for viewing this post, and thank you to this forum for being there to help boxers!!
