Boxer Rescue in NZ

Hi all,
Im living in Christchurch NZ at the mo and am waiting on my girl (darling, baby, sweetheart) to come from Ireland. We were looking to adopt a rescue at home but with the move over here we decided to wait. Frankie was bought from a breeder but this time i want to give a boxer in need a forever home. Does anyone know of a rescue on the south island?

(we are hoping to adopt in the near future, after our baby gets here)

We have only one approved rescue group on the board from NZ. They are not in the South Island, but still are probably a very good place to enquire initially. Information in this thread: New Boxer Rescue In New Zealand

Thanks a million. I contacted that rescue last week, just waiting on some info back from them. Is your Henri a Kiwi?, I know u cant tell me his breeder but its great to know there are dogs of that standard over here, ive only seen 2 or 3 and none are quite as strong and eye catching as him.

Harry came from Rampage Boxers in the South Island,and I remember reading somewhere that Barbara has something to do with Rescue in the South Island.Her email is xxxxxxxxx.
