The wait is killing me....
How long does it take to hear from a rescue group after you fill out an application. The wait is killing me. My 7 year old keeps asking if we have heard which isn't making it any easier. I keep checking the website to make sure there isn't another application pending on the girl we are interested in. But if so the good news is she will be going home and I am sure there is another girl waiting for us somewhere. On another note our boy will be neutered tomorrow, so I am sure all my focus will be there while the girls are at school. Can someone please share their experience with the wait. Thanks for letting me babble

Our rescue responds within 24 hours. It takes about a week for us to process an application, but we do let the applicant know that we have received it within 24 hours.

Some rescues will not place their dogs in a home with unaltered pets, unless the other pets are being shown. Maybe you should contact the rescue again after you have your boy's neuter certificate in hand. Just a thought.

The responded and she is here. I am sorry it took so long to get back to this thread and post this. Rocco was neutered last Tuesday and Coco got here on Friday. They act like they have known each other forever. LOL
