Unhappy Switched food, and now they are not eating

Well, today Payton and I went to the Bark Park and she played and played. Well on the way home we stopped and got some Chcicken Soup for the Dog Lover's soul Adult Food. (I think this is what you all talk about). Well she hasnt touched it. Is this becuase she is to tired to eat? She is sleeping in the window! She usually eats at 7am, 4 pm, and 8pm. Well she ate at about 8 am when I woke up today, and then I just fed her when we got back the chicken soup and she isnt eating it. It has the Iams Selections Sauce on it, a bit of canned pedigree (we have some left over from before we knew it was not the greatest) and then her dry kibble. She isnt touching it.

It could be that's she all tired out and would rather sleep I wouldn't worry about a puppy skipping a meal here and there - they're fairly notorious for it.

When switching foods though, it's usually recommended that you mix the new food in with the old, gradually increasing the percentage of new food in the mix until eventually you're feeding the new food straight. The whole process usually takes about a week to ten days. This is to help avoid any tummy upsets from a cold-turkey food switch (which happens sometimes, especially if there's a big differential in the food quality).

gmacleod pretty much covered it. I wouldn't worry about it, she'll eat when she gets hungry enough.
