Question Nutro Dog Food

I have tried a few different foods for Tyson. Mainly Eukaneuba and Nutro Natural Choice. He seems to realy enjoy the Nutro but from what I have read on this site the basic concensus is that it is not the best bag that I could be giving him. What is???

Smile Maybe helpful

You know, Iv'e had boxers for twelve years now, and the whole time i have had them we wanted what was best for them. It didn't matter how much it was as long as it was the best!
I wanted to reply to this for whatever it's worth, I too have read and re-read bags and bags of dog food, I have been trapped by the very sweet lady doing her job at various pet supply stores. Then I did something different, I used all the links and wonderful web-sites that the people here, with alot more experience than me suggested that people do, ( who knew?? )
I was feeding Nutro Ultra, it sounded good, the lady sounded good, I bragged at how good it was..................three months later, it wasn't I read and heard things I didn't want to hear.
I switched my girls to Solid Gold Hund-n-Floken about three weeks ago, I investigated and came up with what I thought was the best, I hope I did the right thing, I got a really good education in the mean time.
I wish you the best of luck, do your homework, be persistent, you'll find it.

Thumbs up Nutro

We love Nutro...We switched Jag to Nutro when he first came home and he is doing just great at almost 5 months young. He seems to enjoy it and in my opinion is within a good weight range and his coat has an extreme shine. I contribute all of this to the food. I'm sure there are better foods out there so I guess it all boils down to whatever works best for your furbaby.

Couldn't agree more with Jags Mom...we are on our 3rd Boxer feeding Nutro Natural and have always had beautiful, healthy dogs. My first guy, Hahns, lived a full, high energy life until he went to the bridge at 13 yrs. If your baby likes it, has no allergies to it and does well then go with what works...best of luck!

Mine ate Nutro Natural Choice for many years and did fine. Then I to started reading that maybe there were others out there better for them. We switched to Royal Canin for over a year but the gas that they put out finally became unbearable. It think it was just two rich for them. We are now to back to Nutro and a much more pleasant smelling house!

I agree with everyone else. Whatever works well for your dogs is the best!
