Oh I know, but $30 a bag more seems a bit steep.

Thanks for all your suggestions! I have bought a bag of orijen regional red for my guys to try. It does say its all life stages, so we will see how it goes. I bought the bag for $81 in London, so yes I would say way more expensive in Canada, but I want my kids to have a quality food so I don't mind paying. So we will see how it goes, I have just started to slowly mix there food, but its off to a good start.

Wellness CORE also has a lower protein content at 34%. Very close to TOTW. You could use any of these and rotate every few bags.

food

I've been feeding my boxer orijen since she was about five months ,she is now 15 months and is doing very well. Once on a while I switch to the Acana no grain and she switches from one to the other without any problems.

Everything also seems more expensive in England. I have just paid the equivalent of $79 for Billy's Orijen Fish food.

Wow, I feel better about how much I pay for Johann's Orijen (largest bag is around $65).

We switch between Orijen and Acana, mostly because the bags look similar and hubby usually buys Acana by accident.

I've recently made the switch from Orijen large breed puppy to TOTW wetlands formula and the 8% difference in protein content has made a significant difference in stool firmness. I'm still transitioning my pups and mixing the two foods, but I've noticed a definite improvement in the poop department . With Orijen alone, my boys always had stools that were a thick, gooey mess.

Our cat eats TOTW and I think it costs more than feeding Stella raw But the cat does really well on it!

I have had my 2 on Acana made by Orijen for almost a year now and they are doing great on it! They never have loose stools always normal consistency...they never get tired of it but for variety I mix a little wet grain free food into it as well..
