Switching food again..

Okay so zeppelin has colitis and I have gotten him on track . I now have to switch his food to something not so expensive..He is eating Pennacle Duck and sweet potato dry food. He is pretty much grain free except for it has some oats.I add green beans and yogurt sometimes to his food. Natural balance sounds like a good mid-way switch.Which one should i go with ? We thought chicken was bad im not sure now. I will give him fish and potaoes in a can occasionlly, just to mix it up poor guy... hmmm Any feedback would be cool..

My boy has severe food allergies and was also diagnosed at 8 months old with colitis (he's now a little over 2 years old). I've been feeding the Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diets for over a year now with GREAT results. I feed either the Sweet Potato and Fish or sweet potato and Venison and he and my girl both love the food, have done great on it and it doesn't break the bank. My girl is 60 pounds my boy is 65 and one bag of the Fish and Sweet Potato lasts me 3 weeks exactly and it around $50 for the bag, so I probably spend $60-$65 a month to feed both of them. I throw in some boiled chicken or some canned Natural Balance LID food sometimes as well. Their limited ingredient diets are grain free and a single protein and single carb source and unfortunately are the only foods on the market that doesn't have SOMETHING that my boy is allergic to so it's NB for us and that's it. Been very very happy with this food.

Also the manufacturer has a frequent buyer program of buy 10 get 1 free. And if you have a PetCo they have the same deal, so I buy 10 bags and get 2 free which isn't a bad deal at all.

Good luck!
