Apples

I gave Tyler a whole (cored) apple this morning and he had alot of fun playing with and eating it. Then, about a half hour later, he threw up the entire thing. I thought apples were ok for them? Why wouldnt he have been able to digest it?

They are okay to give, maybe it just didn't agree with his tummy? Did he try to eat the thrown up apple? Rowdy loves apples, he's regurged them before but ate it right back up again Yuck, but I thought I have read on here that regurgitation is part of the digestion process - someone correct me if I am wrong...

It probably would have been okay to let him eat it - as gross as it sounds and looks

It's interesting, after he threw it up, we came back inside and then he was crying to go outside again, so i took him out and he went right back over to where he threw up. I guess he really did want it. They sure are lucky they are so cute cuz they do some gross things!

oh my Josi loves granny smith apples...we share one every night before we go to bed! I only give her the flesh of the apple, no skin so it makes it easier for her to digest
