Nutro NC isn't a great food, I'm afraid. Very low meat content (26% only) and a few low quality ingredients as well. It's by no means the worst food out there, but it's not near the class of Canidae either.
In looking for something to rotate with, aside from comparable quality, what you need is something that has
different ingredients to those in Canidae. There's little to be gained, for example, from switching from one chicken/turkey based food to another. That doesn't constitute variety.
There is a good article on rotating foods - how, why, what - at
www.dogfoodanalysis.com/changing_foods.htm
My suggestion would be to choose a food of high quality which has a main meat ingredient that is something other than chicken/turkey (just because those are the main ingredients in Canidae - you need
different, remember). And if it has different minor ingredients as well, that's even better.
