Switching food?

We have had Kota on CS for a while now, and since they have changed some ingredients we are changing. My question is what is best for him?

after doing some more research and looking through all the food options, I think we are leaning towards Innova EVO Red Meat. My only concern, it has a 42% protein content! is that too much for Kota, who weighs 58.2lbs at 10 and 1/2 months???

It's probably wisest to hold off on the high protein food until he's about 18 months old (after that though, it's probably the best thing you could give him!).

In the meantime, a food that's high in meat content and with a protein level in about the 24-26% range would be more ideal. Since he's been on CS, a food that's something other than chicken/turkey based would give the best variety... there are several in the Timberwolf range if that one takes your fancy (a very good food, though somewhat more expensive than many).

We have decided to switch Kota to Innova Adult dog food for the time being. That way when he's old enough we can put him on the Innova Red meat without it being too much of a difference.

Thanks for all the Advice
