Goats Milk

Is this ok diluted with water? My bredder recommended it for calcium. Jack loves it but I only give him it now again, when I remember to pick it up. Is it good or bad?

Cheers,

Dave.

Well, goat's milk is much better than cow's milk. It's lower in lactose, so less likely to cause allergy problems.

Except for the weaning process though, I'd be wary of giving a pup milk on any sort of regular basis. Calcium supplementation isn't actually a good thing (excess calcium is a major cause of growth and musculoskeletal disorders, and should only ever be given if an actual deficiency has been diagnosed. And that's fairly rare.).

My 2 have goats milk sometimes too at supper time. They love it but like Dave said it's not often as I mostly forget to pick some up.
Lola's breeder gives it to hers occasionally and told me about it.
