Growing too fast????

We are now on our second bag of solid gold Mmillenia. Spike LOVES it and his stool has firmed up a lot since we switched from CS, also his coat is so soft and shinny that everyone that touches him comments how soft he is. We feed him 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cup mixed with 2 tablespoons of EVO 95% Beef (wet) twice a day. Exactly 1 month ago when he was at the vet for his neuter surgery he weighed 26 1/2 pounds. We weighed him on our scales last night and he was around 37 lbs. Spike will be 7 months old on Sunday and I know that all pups grow at different rates. When we first got him were worried because you could see ALL of his ribs, but the breed was feeding Science Diet so I don't blame him for not wanting to eat it (yuck). We started to switch him over as soon as I discoved boxerworld, which was only a day or two later. I just want to make sure that him gaining 10 lbs. or so in a month was okay. I don't want to cause any skeletal problems by him growing too fast.

At 6 mths old Stryker was 56lbs, that was his weight the day of his surgery. Two weeks ago we needed to see the vet his weight was 71lbs he'll be 1 year old on Sept 22. The vet said he's the perfect size, no fat just lots of muscles.
