Kennel Floor Question

When I got Tractor, a friend bought mne the large wire kennel with the hard plastic floor that slides in and out. I had been usuing it with no problems until recently. Tractor apprentky got board and I'm not really sure but it looks like he jumped on it until he broke it into 1,000 pieces. Well he has his wool blanket to lay on so I thought we shoulnot have any problems with just the wire for the bottom.

So now I have a new problem. He has skooted the blanket out of the way and has pulled up the kitchen flooring. Literally pulled up the vinyl tile (I'm fixing to put new in anyway so I did not really mind). I don't want him to decided to eat it and get choked or stopped up.

I guess my question is - Does anyone know if I can buy replacement flooring for these things? I hate to go buy another large kennel but I was wondering what my options were.

TIA!

I don't know how wide it is but I have seen at Wal-Mart a large drip pan for putting under your car. It is made of heavy aluminum and has rolled edges that extend up maybe a half inch. I know the plastic tray you're talking about and it might be a decent replacement. I don't think I would use wood because that would be a big problem if he started to chew on it. Good luck.

Thanks so much! I have not had time to do much research to find one!
