The Beast finally did it!!! She got her final leg for her CD on the weekend!
The dog who scooted around in gleeful Fruit Loops on her heel-free at her last trial scored a 39/40 on her heel-free on Saturday and got an overall score of 191, thanks, in part, to 2 no sits on her Figure 8 (first time she's ever missed her sits) for a 4 point deduction.
But, least I believe that she is reformed from her Fruit Looping tendencies, she pulled the Fruit Loop stunt again on Sunday.
Sigh.
But, we have several months to get her sorted out on a more permanent basis before she debuts in the Open ring!

Way to go!
I know, for you, it is embarrassing when your baby does "fruit loops" but for everyone else it reminds us of one of the reasons we love these dogs....their clownish tendencies!
I'm in basic obedience class and while doing the "come" Barney just stood there and looked at me while everyone else laughed. All I could think was now that he got a laugh I'll never get him to come!

Congratulations to you two!
With Sharon's help I plan to do a short page on Boxerworld about obedience/agility. More fun than conformation

Congratulations!! They wouldn't be boxers if they didn't totally embarrass us in the obedience ring now and then.

Kira, I've already said this once, but WAHOO! Yippe, hurray, and a hearty congratulations! You have worked darn hard with Kira and it is really paying off, Fruit Loops and all. *G* I hope you have a scanner, cuz I am going to want to see her *New CD* pic!
I also see you are thinking about heading down to Montana next month. It's a little smokey there right now, are you still planning to go?

Hi Cindy!
I don't have a scanner........waaaaah! I'd love to post her HIT and new CD pictures!
So far, the plan is Helena on Sept 21-24.
I've heard about the fires down there. Wow. A bunch of my training crew is going down to Great Falls for the long weekend for trials.......so I guess they'll report back......Helena entries don't close until Sept 9 .
