Going pee in the house

So when we are home all day playing with George he goes pee about 15 times a day. Usually a couple in the house I swear he may be part ninja ni guess my question is how many times a day should a 10 week puppy be going pee? Seems like 15+ is a lot.

When we are not home and he is in his kennel and we have the walker or friends come over he never goes in his crate. Just when we take him out.

he probably drinks a lot, therefore, he pees a lot.
That is normal...

he is way too young to be totally house broken, expect lots of "accidents"

Thanks. I know we will have lots of them. It's Is a bit crazy how sneaky he is when he has to go. He totally acts like he is getting a toy then bam pee on the floor.

He is so awesome. I knew we would love him but had no Ida how much fun he would be.

The best thing you can do is go outside as often as possible and have lots paper towel and an enzyme cleaner to sanitize where the accidents happen. My girl is 5 1/2 months old and really only recently has been potty trained though she does sometimes still have the occasional accident.

One thing you definetly don't want to do is punish. The only option you have is if you catch them in the act you take them to the proper pee spot and apparently they eventually learn from this (my girl didn't seem to have a clue when we tried this though).

No matter what just be patient and keep at the house training.

Lots of patients! Toby is almost 6 months old now and when we first got him I picked him up and took him out every 30 minutes to potty and would highly praise him each time he would potty and he was never in his kennel as long as we were home unless it was nap time and when he would wake up I would immediatly pick him up and take him out again. I would never let him walk out on his own as he might have immedialey went potty on the floor. He has only peed in the house one time and never pooed since we have had him and he is now fully trained, but too, there was always someone at home with him. Time and patients and he will get the hang of it! Boxers are very smart. Good luck!

A good rule to go by is their age (in months) plus 1. That's how long they can hold it in for. So for 10 weeks old puppy, 2+1=3......she needs to go every 3hours during the day and double that during the night. Hope that helps.
