FDA getting any better?

I was poking around the U.S. Food & Drug Admin. site and found a couple of links that might be of interest to somebody. First one is a link where you can subscribe to get email alerts to any FDA news releases. This would include any releases pertaining to potential pet food recalls, or potential problems--like the recent release about Evangers. Since it is a goverment site, I was not too worried about being spammed and they only required a email address so I went ahead and signed up. Here is that link http://www.fda.gov/opacom/hpnews.html

Also I noticed that there is a big open meeting pertaining to pet food on May 13, 2008. Here is a link to that http://www.fda.gov/cvm/CVM_Updates/petfoodstandards.htm

I know I am pretty optimistic, but maybe some good changes can be made to make the food safer.

Anyone use Evangers?

There was no recall, or reports of bad food.
