Unhappy

Aimee, I'm sorry seems so inadequate. Everyday I have to fight with my 6yr old to get him to wake up & get ready for school. He always balks and I tell him he has to do it because I do not have my magic wand to make it happen. Now I am wishing for a magic wand to make Baxter better. I had to stop and look at all the party pictures with the Knowles boys and he has the sweetest face. You guys are in my prayers and please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

It has gone from bad to worse. The neurologist called and the radiologist has read the MRI. In addition to the brain tumor and the one on the left side of his larynx, the radiologist has found a tumor in Baxter's right thryoid gland and also one at the base of his skull in a lymph node. The neurologist said we are dealing with metastatic disease. The neurologist is consulting with the oncologist now so again we sit and wait. I'm devestated.

I am so sorry this is happening to such a wonderful companion and distinguished looking boxer boy as your Baxter. Thoughts and prayers are coming your way from the two of us. Love him as much as you can.

Aimee thru tears I tell you that I'm so very sorry about Baxter. There's something about the seniors that touches my heart. I think about the pics from Goliath's birthday party with them all wearing their party gear. Please give him a hug from us. Hang in there.

Aimee,

To say I'm sorry just does not seem to convey how badly I feel for you all right now. Please take some comfort, however little it may be, in knowing that we are sharing your pain and wish you peace. Baxter has always had a special place in my heart, that sweet faced boy. Please hang on tight and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bev

Aimee,

So sorry to hear the latest news about Baxter - I think we all were hoping for a more favorable report from the radiologist. As caring dog owners, we all empathize with your pain and your desire to do the right thing. Don't rush into a decision, and trust yourself to be your dog’s loving advocate. We will all be hear for you - Cathy

Aimee,
like all the others here wanting to express their concerns, I too am at a loss for words that may bring some sort of comfort to you.

While I never got to meet you or Baxter in the flesh, I still feel there is a closeness, a bond , as if he's been a part of me for a long time.

You're visits with Deb have drawn a picture in my mind of just what a wonderful boy he is. The spoken and written words of his days with Goliath, and now Jack and Jaimee will forever be etched in our hearts.
Who could ever forget their ventures with the rum cake.

There are no words any of us can say that can ease your pain at this moment, all we can do is be here for you and let you know that you're not alone.

As i read the moral support offered by this group of friends, my own personal memories of my seniors come back to me once again, with as much laughter of the good times and with as much pain as you're feeling at this time.

There are no words, just a million mixed emotions.
I can't ask you to try to keep your chin up, but do ask that you make the best of the days ahead.

Jill

Aimee I am so sorry that you got such bad news from the neurologist. It must be just devastating for you.

I am sending more positive healing vibes your way. I will be keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers.
