are boxers thin skinned???

Hi Everyone, I've been taking my boxer Toby to the local dog park and to the beach as well where she plays with a shepard.......who in the course of their play leave bite marks and scratches on her......I'm thinking of changing her name to <Scarbaby>
please don't tell me to stop them playing together ........they are so joyous and she obviously loves him [fortunately they are both <fixed>] but I am hoping for some helpful suggestions.......
Actually it's not only the shepard, a puppy in the park bit her on the neck, not deeply but it takes a few days to heal.......
What can I do?
