Red Eyes?

My little Doofer always seems to have have red eyes lately. Not all the time, but enough for me to notice it. Is this normal? Could it be because he's tired or something else?

Sometimes, at night or after a long day, Kendal's eyes will droop at the bottom, and I'll notice that they're a slightly red. I think it's maybe because they're tired. Once she goes for a nap or goes to bed, they're gone when she wakes up. If it's not going away after a nap, you might want to research using tear drops to get rid of the redness. Dogs can get a certain type of pink eye, so I've been told, so maybe that could be a factor. I'd research it!

I've always noticed when Emma gets tired her eyes will be red at night - sometimes she also gets so tired she's like a little kid that refuses to settle down and acts like a maniac untill she passes out. I call them her devil eyes when she's doing it.

Henry though has two unpigmented haws (third eyelid) and so he almost always has red eyes. When he gets tired (and he's a puppy so he's often tired) his eyes will droop a little more and so they are very noticible.

I first looked it up when a family dog always had one red eye and learned about the unpigmented haw.

Ok so...he had red eyes, took a nap, and his eyes are still red

He had pink eye a few weeks ago and that was green eye boogers with no red eyes. The redness I have noticed has only been the past few days. He's taking another nap now so I will check again when he wakes up.
