Booster shots = lethargic pup?

So we took George to get his last round of shots ( just rabies in 2 weeks and dog park here we come!!!) and when we left the vet said he may be a little lethargic from the shots but as long as he is still eating and drinking he is ok. Well it's been 6 days now and I still have a very calm puppy (most of the time, he actually exploded off the back of the couch into my arms when I got home from work last night). Did anyone else experience such a long lasting affect from shots?

I have never had a dog to react for that long.
