Unhappy Demodex Mange

Bronson has about 8 spots of Demodex mange on his head. We took him to our vet, whom we love, and she was scraped and it confirmed. She said that there were a few adults but mostly "baby" mites.

She suggested that we do the dips and from what I have read on here and elsewhere they are quite toxic.

I am turning to you all for some alternative options.

Thank you in advance!

Ivermectin is kind of the standard treatment these days for mites. I'd ask her about that instead.

I agree. When my nephew's dog got mange about a year ago that is what she was on. She looked really bad to start with, and it cleared up fairly quickly.
