Talking Updates on Thor and Arabella

Arabella had a check up for her drop jaw and frankly if you didn't see her 2 weeks ago, you would never know today! She got her steroids reduced to only two more doses! (1/2 tab every other day.) Thank God for that! She has taken to stealing food from Thor.

Thor is feeling great today! He even tried boxing with Arabella this morning! It broke my heart a little to make him stop. He came along for the ride to the vet. Our regular vet, (whom I adore!) wanted to see Thor's tumor for himself. So he did an ultrasound. There is good news! The tumor has stopped bleeding and a clot is forming! He said it takes a good 3 weeks for a protective clot to form and seal in the tumor. So we are going to take things very slow for now, and hopefully the clot will give us lots more quality time. I am not sticking my head in the sand. I know things can geet ugly quickly, but for now I am breathing a little easier.

Fantastic news for both of your babies! I'm so glad that Arabella is getting all better You must be so relieved! Fingers crossed that Thor's clot forms quickly and serves as a good band aid for lots of time to come. Continuing to send you all positive vibes! Hang in there Thor

I came on specifically to see if there was any news concerning Thor. To see the news of a clot forming and to hear that Arabella is doing well was just icing on the cake!
