I took her to the vet and she has been on antibiotics for a week, finshed them today but the discharge stil appears to be their...
Has anyone else eva had this with there bitch? Is it an infection or somethin else?

I think a trip back to the vet is in order.

My girl has this also. Its only a small amount of what looks like puss just after she pees- i always wipe it away but it doesnt happen all the time only form time to time.

I was also worried but asked (and showed) the vet and he said it was nothing to worry about. Keep us informed, id be interested to see what ur vet says.

Venus also has something sililar to this and it is always after she pees and I normally just wipe it off. When we went to the vet the other day I asked about it and he said that it is normal especially if they are about to go into heat.

Anything like that is something that should be checked with a vet (nobody on an internet forum can see it, so even if it sounds "like" something another dog had that wasn't a serious problem, it isn't necessarily the same thing).

In the spirit of possible causes (but still for a vet to adjudicate on), I wonder if it might be a case of puppy vaginitis. That is something that usually disappears after the pup is spayed (though there are a few vets who seem to prefer to wait to spay until after it has gone - more commonly it seems to be the case that spay is recommended, after which it clears up). All things to be discussed with your vet, of course - but if you care to search the forums here, you'll find many threads on that topic.

Both females that I have owned had this. My first girl was constantly on antibiotics for this and it always was there. They even did surgery to try to figure out where it was coming from! We spent a fortune on trying to figure this out (we have a new vet now). Well, when we got Olive she had discharge too! When I took her to the vet she had no infection. He said it is common in females, some worse than others, and is caused by hormones. He said many will outgrow it and it stops, and some like my first girl never outgrow it and it continues through life. It never caused her any problems, so I tend to believe what he says. Olive's is getting better so I agree with my vet about the hormones. Definately have her checked for infection or vaginitis though, you just don't know without a check up.

Thank u for all your replies, we took cassie today back to the vet and she has been put on another week of antibiotics. Our vet doesnt seem troubled by it and says also that it is common in pups.
Vaginitis is what she thinks it is....

She also thinks that when her first season arrives it will go, and wants to see her in a month.
The good thing is cas isnt bothered by it in the slightest, i just wipe when she comes in else i get little yellow spots on my carpet!! Yum!!!

Thanx again i feel reassured now x

Stella had the same thing. I kept baby wipes by the door to keep the area clean without irritating her sensitive parts.
