Ms. Ali came home yesterday. She was doing so well the vet released her a day earlier. I'm must say she's doing so much better with her knee even after 1 day past surgery. She's having some pain though and that can be expected. She has a pain batch on but that's starting to fall off so I tapped it back on but it's supposed to come off tonight anyway and I have pain meds for her as well. She's been a bit fussy wanting to eat and not wanting to eat and moaning a bit when she's trying to go to sleep. I know she has gas. Everyone does after surgery and it's not nice. I rub her belly and shoulders cause I know that after surgery gas can be terrible in the shoulders. I'm assuming it's the same with animals. She's drinking and peeing and doing her doo so that's all fine. Her incision is just as big as the other one but it's a bit toward the back of her knee. I'm so happy that she's home and now it's just keeping her quite and still and letting her heal. Keeping fingers and paws crossed that she'll be fine when this all heals up. Thank you guys for being so supportive. I truly appreciate it. God bless you all.

I'm so glad Ms Ali is doing better! I hope the rest of her recovery goes quickly and without incident.

Thanks again guys. Since I took off her pain patch she's not fussy anymore. I think she has a lot of tummy problems when she's on that. She doing good considering it's only been 5 days since surgery. We're keeping her confined for the most part. I have an area off the kitchen and I have a baby gate up and for the most part she's content but we rotate to the living area as well and I close the fresh doors and keep her in. I'm home all the time which is good. If this don't work I dont' know what else I can do. Keeping fingers and paws crossed. She's so wild when I take her to do her doo. That's the only problem I have. Pls. continue to pray that she'll have a good recovery.

Keeping you in our prayers. You had the hardest part now. Trying to keep a boxer "quiet" while they heal. Keep the faith and hopefully your sanity too...

Sending out a fresh stream of prayers to Ms Ali that she may heal nicely and stay still until she does. I'm glad she is recovering so well, I hope she continues.
