My Millie had her spay done at the same time we had a kidney biopsy done, so her incision is at least 6 inches long (much more intrusive IMO than just the spay alone would have been) and she came home and of course was sluggish and tired...she had been at Auburn for 3 days for tests and procedures. We have another pup and he seemed to understand that she needed rest and let her and then 2 days later it was nearly impossible to keep her still. I was freaking out about her incision because she wouldnt keep still and was hoping and jumping and playing with Ozzy, but I just couldn't keep her down. She even snuck up on our bed somehow.

I was like you very nervous about the whole procedure and the recovery, but was very surprised at how well she did. She was about 8months when we had it done too.

I'm sure your girl will be ok. We wish you the best of luck!
