You and Austin are in my thoughts and prayers. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this post. I hope that your visit on Thursday helps to lighten this awful burden that you are feeling. Give Austin a big hug and let him feel my positive healing vibes.

Thank you all. I don't think I've stopped crying for more than ten minutes since I got this news. I'm in shock. To look at Aussie you'd never know anything was wrong with him other than licking his lips. It's like a nightmare I can't wake up from. I will hug and kiss him and tell him it's from all of his friends here on bw, and how much everyone cares about him even tho they have never met him.

So many of us are crying with you. When I saw this post, I couldn't open it quickly enough, hoping it wasn't something as terrible as the title implied. My heart is just breaking for you. Both you and Austin will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully the oncologist visit will provide some positive news. I will be waiting to hear how things go tomorrow.

I just caught this thread. Tears are falling here in Memphis, TN for Austin and you. I am so sorry. You both will be in my prayers. Hoping something positive comes from your oncologist visit tomorrow. Give Austin lots of gentle, healing hugs from Balboa and me.

I got a call from my regular vet this morning, he went to a lecture last night an oncologist from Red Bank was giving. So he talked to him about Austin and gave him his biopsy report, he's supposed to call me today for a phone consult. My vet feels I would mesh better with this oncol. personality wise than with the one we were supposed to see tomorrow. He wants me to hear him out so I can make the decision with a clear conscience, becuase he knows I'm dead set against chemo. But he said it's not like in humans. So now I wait. Again.

I am so sorry to hear about Austin. I can't imagine getting more devastating news. Why are you so against Chemo? Dogs tend to tolerate it very well and it can extend their life.

I don't know what you are feeding Austin, but it would be a good idea to feed a grain free diet as cancers tend to feed on carbs. A raw natural diet would be even better.

I am sending positive healing vibes your way.

How nice that your vet thought so much of you and Austin that he spoke with this specialist concerning the situation and gave him the test results. I always believe that things happen for a reason and for some reason Austin's results came the same day that your vet met this oncologist. I hope those are positive signs. Again hugs, good thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear about your baby boy. Every time someone posts something like this, my heart just breaks. The pain you have been through in the last couple of years is excruciating and I am saying prayers that this will work out and he can be helped. Please, don't close your mind to chemo, if they think it can prolong his life then it is worth a shot. It is totally your decision I know, but just think about it before saying absolutely no. Please, take care of yourself and know your friends here at Boxer World are here to talk to.
