Foremans Foot

About 2 months ago Foreman started limping I took him to the vet and she told me his foot was inflamed he had hurt it and when he steped on it he was sore. So I bought Metacam for him and brought him home my breeder told me to beware of Metacam and after 2 days I took him off he wasn't doing good on it. So I decided to keep him from running and it started to heal. Just as it got better he wiped out and the foot was back to be swollen and he couldn't walk on it. This has now happened 4 times everytime it heals something happens to it. I don't know what to do with it other then crate him for a month.

Re: Foremans Foot

Has anybody ever x-rayed it? A chronic problem like that rather makes you suspect that there's some sort of foreign object in there, or possibly even a bone fragment roaming around. A standard fracture you'd really expect to have healed by now - but if there's a bit detached, so to speak, then it's easy to imagine an ongoing problem.
