Payton can't move agian!
Well it happened agian. Here is my last thread Please help, she wont move
and she has been fine up until 2 days ago. I feel so bad....I was just complaining about how hyper she was and messing stuff up, and now she cant move agian. I asked the vet about steriods over the phone....but he said since I already gave her Remidyl already I couldnt give her the steriods. just to see if it would work.
My baby is soooo sick agian, and it breaks my heart. I am getting ready to leave work to take her to get wieghed and get more medication for her and hold her head up so she can sleep. Why does this happen? Poor thing cant walk right, cant lay down, or jump or turn her head. Please send us more vibes....

Shaunna,
My heart sunk when I saw this post. I followed Payton's last illness very closely and prayed for her recovery. I am SO sorry she is having problems again. It hurts my heart to know she is not feeling well--she is only a day older than my Ginny. She is too young to be in pain!
I am sending you lots of love, prayers and good wishes. Please keep us updated.
Payton baby--please get better. Ginny sends her very best get well wiggles your way.

Poor Payton! maybe its time for a new vet and a fresh perspective. A second opinion can never hurt…

Was the spinal tap ever done for meningitis? I would take her to a new vet, explain everything that has happened over the past few months, and have every test in the book run.

Yes, the vet never figured it out and when her edrenylin (sp?) gets going she doesnt know she is stiff and hurting so they never see it. Everytime we have a flair up it only lasts a few days, correct. Her eating is fine and pooping. The blood has been gone and have not seen anything since. Thank you for trying to figure it out.....

The spinal tap was never done. I to believe maybe a second oppinion is necessary. She keeps getting up and turning around to ry and get comfy. It breaks my heart. The vet just gave us more remidyl and said keep an eye on her. I will spend all weekend with her and see what happens. If it gets to bad we will see if we can go to Purdue. I need to find my CareCredit card. I wonder if they could look up my info if I took her to a vet that accepts it. But probably only a specialist could do a spinal though. My poor young baby...
