Question Some pictures get accepted and some don't?

I'm so thrilled that I actually figured out how to post pictures!!!
Just one prob.
I reduced all of my photos to 640x480 pixels. Some of the pictures were accepted and some were not saying that the image exceeded limits.......
so I took those ones which exceeded limits and made them even smaller, but they were once again rejected?
Anyone have any clues as to why this happened?
What should I do make them even smaller yet?
Thanks for any help offered,

Regards

Have another read of the photo requirements in the help section. There are TWO size requirements: the dimensions in pixels, and the file size in kilobytes.

You cannot upload anything larger than 100kb, so if your photos exceed that, then you need to reduce the resolution to bring that down (there's no point in resolution high enough for printing a poster on a 640x480 pixel photo anyway - you won't see one iota of difference at that size). It is far far better to have a low resolution 640x480 pixel picture than a tiny little high resolution one that nobody can see.
