Thanks for the vibes and prayers. Mom has 4 more radiation treatments. She is hanging in there, however she is very tired . The treatments have really taken alot out of her. I pray that she will be out of some of the back pain she is in. Thank you for everything . I really appreciate it.

I hadn't seen this thread until now, I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time right now. I will pray for you and your family. Don't forget to take care of yourself. God does all things in his own time. Just remember that he takes care of us here as well as when we pass. My best wishes to you and your family.

You & your family are in my prayers and I wish I could lend your mom some of my health as I seem to be fine despite all I have been through this past year. That line from the song you mentioned...I really liked that. Maybe I too could adopt that motto and instead of looking at the far off distance I need to go, enjoy what is around me more. Give your mom lots of love from me and I will ask for strength for you in being such a great daughter.

Update on Mom

Mother had her last radiation treatment today. She is almost pain free. This is great news. We still have to see a medical oncologist to addresss the tiny spot on the lung. She is in such better spirits. Thanks for the prayers. They have helped so much. I wish you all could see the miracle that your prayers have performed. She is still weak, but doing so much better. Thanks again for all of the support. I will continue to bring updates.

I put my car in the shop to get its warranty check up. The transmission was sticking. Well, I had to have a new transmission. Thank goodness for extended warranties. I sure hope that April is a better month.
