Cindy,
I send get well wishes for your family. I know how exhausting it is to have 2 ill at the same time. I went through a similar situtation back in November only I was one of the patients and my father was the other. We were in hospitals 70 miles apart. I saw how stressing it was for some of my family members.
Just remember to take care of yourself too.

I wish this update had good news. Unfortunately, it is cancer in the spot on her back. We met with the radiation ocologist today and he confirmed the news. She started the first of 14 treatments today. We go tomorrow again. It has not spread. So that is some good news. She is very depressed, but I try to keep her spirts up. After a few treatments, the pain is suppose to go away. That will at least make her feel better. The doctors think that there is an oral medicine to treat the small spot on the lung. So we pray and take one day at a time. There is a song I listen to that has a line in it that says,"Pray , pray , I've got to pray just to make it today." I guess that will be my motto.

Cindy, I'm so sorry you didn't get good news. I hope the radiation treatments take care of it, along with the other chemotherapy for her lung. The prognosis sounds good, since neither place has spread.
I'll still keep you in my thoughts and prayers!
Hang in there--we are here for you!

To all of my boxer loving buddies,
Thank you for all of the prayers and boxer vibes. Mother was not is as much pain today. She looked so much better. When I brought her her supper, she ate a good bit. I have to make sure she eats to keep up her strength.
You are the best,
( of course, we have the best dogs in the world)
