Pepper's still doing better--this morning when I acted like I was going to help her get up, she got up--well, struggled up is more like it. But, she walked outside and peed. She tried to poo, but I didn't see anything. Then, she actually walked around the garden for a minute or two, which she hasn't done in days!

She's drinking and eating again. I'm giving her Wellness canned. I can stick her pills in that and she gobbles it down!

She's still very unsteady on her feet, but now I can tell her right side is weaker than her left side. When she walks, she doesn't go in a straight line--she veers off to the right.

I hope she can get a little stronger each day.

Keep those healing vibes coming her way--they are powerful!

Yesterday afternoon when I got home from work, I was surprised to see that Pepper came to the gate to meet me! This is her normal routine, but she hadn't been doing it since last week. That made me very happy! She's still pretty wobbly, but doesn't seem to be in as much pain as last weekend! She's eating and drinking well, too.

The vet called to tell me the vet radiologist who looked at her x-rays said there looked like a somethingorother on her spine, and to recheck it in a month. I guess just to make sure it hasn't changed and if it has changed it may be a tumor. The vet was very happy to learn she was able to move her tail enough to get it out of the way when she was going potty!

Please keep the vibes coming--they are working!

Oh Wow, Lenore....seeing Pepper waiting at that gate must have felt like Christmas morning, huh!! I am sure she was a wonderful site to behold! I am so glad she's doing better. Atta Girl Pepper..keep up the good work for us! djk

Yes Debbie, it was wonderful to have her greet me at the gate! Plus, she had to go through two dog doors to get out, so now I know she can get out during the day if she has to go potty!!

I have not been able to post because my computer has been down. I just read about Pepper. I hate to hear that she has been having a rough time. I am delighted to hear that she is improving. I will keep her in my prayers.
