Unhappy they just drove away

I am such a baby!! I brought the girls to work with me because tomorrow we are going to Florida for 8 days and my step mom who watches them picked them up at my work. I feel so bad. Jasmine and Bailey had their noses against the glass just staring at me as she drove away. Bailey was acting very loving this morning when I was packing their things and I sometimes wonder if she thinks she is being given up like her old family did to her? I know I that isn't going to happen but I wonder if that goes through her mind? Well, now that I think I am done crying I have to get some work done. I know they will be well taken care of I am just going to miss them.

I would of been crying too and especially since they were looking as they were leaving. They are in good hands and will be fine. Just think how happy they will be to see you when you come home. Enjoy your trip to Florida!

AWW Brigit it will be ok, they will miss you too but then think of it as they are going to be totally spoiled to death by Gramma. Just enjoy yourself and have some quality time and rest up for all those kisses when you get home. You do know that they will make you pay for leaving them......lol.

My wife and I wen to Michigan for two weeks when Duke was 6 months and that was the hardest time I have had. We called home just to talk to him. It is awsome when you come home and get to see them again. Maybe you will see another boxer in Florida and get some kisses from them. Have fun on your trip. What part of Florida are you going to?

I cried too when we first had to leave Chewy for a week. He was only 7 months old. He's always been super attached to us, and I just felt like I was going to break his heart. It's hard leaving our boxers because we can't explain to them that we ARE coming back and we really do love them and are NOT giving them away. It will be okay, though, and they will just wiggle those butts like crazy when you come back.

Have a wonderful trip, Bridgit!
