Yes, don't give up!, I am praying that Maya gets her big brother back home to play with soon. What a terrible story, well what goes around comes around. Congrats on Maya and I hope that I will be offering cograts on the return of Scooby too!

I am so sorry to hear about your baby. I caught someone jumping my fence into my backyard with the intent to steal my Beau and thankfully my dad was home and scared him away by waving his shotgun. It was in the middle of the day and he must have been waiting until we let Beau out to use the bathroom and then he just jumped over and was trying to call him over. I have never seen him again since but it is just horrible to think that some people are just so numb to others feelings. I am so sorry for your loss and all I can say is to keep looking and maybe you will find him one day.

Well I was able to get the address for the parents. But since this guy is homeless and lives from home to home, it might take a while before I locate him as his brother's or parents. I spoke to the police and they told me that the address where the parents live is out of their jurisdiciton, that I would have to involve the police from that city (it's only about 5 miles from my house) And at that I could only get police asssitance to "recover" my scooby. At this point I am not sure where scooby is for him to be recovered. My brother suggested to call the state police (I will do that today).

In an ealier post more information was asked about the theif. His name is Phil and his girfriends name is Angel. It was Phil's blazer that Angel was driving that night. Phil is about 24-26 years old, heavyset. I am not sure if Phil and Angel are living together (from house to house) Apparently Phil did see my flyers and just laughed. I was offering an initial reward of $200 then raised to $500, you would figure he could use the money in his situation, which means he will probably not give up scooby that easy.

I will keep you posted. Thanks for listening

Keep investigating, and I just have a feeling that you will find your Scooby. Don't give up! Keep a camera with you when investigating in case you see him or the theives.

Good luck, Monica.

Anything yet? Gosh, I just don't understand how people can be so cruel! I can't imagine your pain. I'm sorry you're having to go through this.

Keep us posted!

Monica maybe you could increase the reward to something he couldn't possibly pass up and involve the police so when he or whoever he sends come to get the reward they can be arrested and you can get your baby back? I'm sure you would have to discuss this with the police first. I'm so sorry I really hope you get your baby back.

Thank you for all of your suggestions and prayers. Our initial reward was $200 and we have increased it to $500. The person who took Scooby is aware of the reward and apparently is not interested. I was told that he looked at our flyer and just laughed. I figured that if he is homeless, $500 would come in handy. We are driving by his brothers and parente's house daily, still no sight of Scooby.

I refuse to give up hope, in the mean time, please keep your fingers crossed and your prayers going.

Thank you,

I don't know how much more $$ you are willing to pay, (I know our babies are like family members,) but at this point, I might consider hiring a PI to stake the guy out and take pictures of "Phil" with the dog. He could then call you when he locates the guy and hopefully you would be able to get over there with the police to recover Scooby before he moved off.

We were actually looking into a "pet dective" but none exist, at least in this area. I am pretty sure that I will have the same luck with a PI, in this area. But we will definatly look. Money really is not an issue in order to recover scooby.... within reason.....
