There are no words to describe how deeply I feel for you and your family. I can't imagine losing such a friend at such a young age. Hope you manage the best you can. You and your family are in our thoughts and you know you can always talk to your BW family if you need us.

I just now saw your post. Sorry I missed it. So Sad! That is a very tragic thing to have happen. I hope your new pup Harla has brought a new ray of sunshine into your lives.

There appears to be many tears shed for this baby boy across bw. Mine are being added, as will others. I hope you all the best with the new pup. She is a doll. Love her well. Hugs and kisses, Heather, Trace, and Mel

My heart breaks for you at the loss of your baby. May God watch over your Harley while he waits at the bridge. I'm sooooo sorry.

Oh Sheri. We are all so sorry. I, like everyone else, hope you can stop asking those "what ifs" - you just didn't know. I'm glad you posted this - hopefully someone will learn from this and their puppy will be safer. I would never have thought about it myself if I hadn't read something about it here on BW. Your story will save some other little puppy . . . please take some comfort in that. I hope you will welcome another little bundle of boxer joy into your house - we will rejoice with you if/when you do. He won't replace Harley, but will be a wonderful baby in his own right!

I am sorry I missed your post earlier. I add my tears with those others who have cried for your furbaby. None of us are perfect and you can't live on the "what ifs". I agree that your tragic storey will educate others.

Your gave your baby the best life he could possibly have even though it was a short one, who could have loved Harley as much as you!!! Take comfort that he is safe and happy at the bridge, a puppy forever.
