I'm scared. I just had to admit that to somebody, even if cryptically over the internet to people I've never met... lol

I am sorry you are going through something that is bothering you. If it helps and you feel comfortable enough to share it might do you some good to talk about it. I am not saying you have to spill your guts to an online community but a cherished friend, close family member or even someone from your church (if you attend) can be therapeutic.
You might not get answers but by getting things off your chest it can be beneficial in that you are not keeping something bottled up. Gain a little perspective perhaps.
I hope you have a good day today!

The problem is that I can't talk to my parents, because I'm trying to put on a "brave face" for them... I want so badly to talk to my sister, but she is about 10 weeks pregnant with her first child - I'm afraid if she gets upset from what I have to tell her that it could affect the pregnancy. Does anyone have any thoughts on that? I don't want my friends to know yet what I found out... so my sister is really my best hope right now. I wouldn't do anything to endanger her pregnancy, though....
Thank God I have Daisy; I can at least talk to her about it. It's funny in a way - Daisy's been extra cuddly/loving lately, and I attributed it to her going into her first heat. Now I'm wondering if it was because she could smell the tumor in my leg. I am so grateful to have this precious little girl who is able to put a smile on my face under any circumstance - I would be lost without her.

I am so sorry that you are having to go through this I know that extra stress can effect a pregnacy but I don't know that it would be the best option to keep it from your family. You'll need their support, family support is the best medicine for something so terrifying.
Daisy is probably sensing you're scared and upset and just wants to be there for you. Charlie does this with me when I am feeling down or anything other than happy.
I hope things get better for you. And we are all here for you also, even if we are just on the internet. Sometimes it helps.

Do you have a close friend that you could confide in? If not, then I would chose your sister...I'm guessing that she has an idea that something is bothering you and wants to help. If you can't do either of those things, you can always talk to us on here, it's pretty anonymous.
((hugs)) and I hope you are feeling better soon.

Thank you for your kind responses... I went ahead and talked with my sister on the phone, as I felt like I was going to explode. She's always so good at keeping a positive attitude that I knew she was the best person in whom to confide.
I have an MRI this afternoon, and likely a biopsy in the near future. *Deep Breaths*
Positive thinking... positive thinking....

Sending you some (((vibes))) you get good results from the MRI today. I have an idea of how you feel...I was diagnosed with leukemia in September...and I am scared too. My sister was the first person I called.
