Update on Bella!
Bella is now and always will be a part of our family. Like I said before, it was like a light switch was turned on. She has been on RAW for 4 months now. Thanks to all of the RAW feeders here, it has changed her life and mine! I think her allergies must have really affected her organs and insides. It has taken this many months for her to "heal" from the death pellets and get back to her "natural" self.
She is housetrained! She now knows when she has to go. She must have been too messed up before to even know what her body was telling her. She stills has an accident once a week, but that's my fault for not reading her signals.
The other two dogs have relaxed since I have relaxed. They no longer are rebelling. I have stipulated their love times and make the other two wait in line for their lovin. Now when each one gets their cuddle time, they are more relaxed and wait patiently for their turns. It's just awesome!!!
Bella still requires 24/7 attention, but is not so needy anymore. I think it's cause she just feels better all around. She must have been feeling awful all the time and didn't know how to make it better. She was looking to me to help her. She still goes to work with me, but now lays comfortably under my desk. She only pees maybe 5 times a day now. Poops regularly 2 hours after meals. I couldn't ask for a more perfect pooch!
I absolutely adore her now. I needed to relax and wait for the RAW to do it's magic. That was all she needed. Patience and good food. She is even acting like a puppy again.
When I took her to the vet the first week I got her, he said she was between 3-4 yrs old. When I took her last week for a check-up, I asked them to guess her age again. Well, she is now probably not more than 2 to 2-1/2! Thanks to the RAW, she has perfectly white teeth! Her energy is now matching Lily the boxer.
She has also fell into line with the other two dogs. Lily, the youngest is the alpha, Bella who adores Lily, fell in right behind her and Buster the boy mix has gone back to doing his own thing and not caring much about the positions in the pack. He even plays with Bella once in a while without incident.
No aggression issues, no regression issues, no housetraining issues, just a perfect pecking order with perfect pooches. I couldn't ask for anything more...........well, except a bigger house to get that beautiful 3 yr old fem boxer at the shelter. Damnit!
So thanks for asking about an update. I have been absolutely the happiest with all three of my dogs and plan on having many great years with them.
Thanks for your support and very welcomed suggestions.
You guys rock!!!

If Bella wasn't so damn cute and a changed dog..........she may have had a home by lunchtime today.
It was time to leave for work this morning and Bella didn't want to go. Suprise! She may be hitting another stage in her recovery. LOL So, Buster Boo got to go with me this time. He used to go all the time when I was trying to break him of his seperation anxiety. When Bella joined the family, she would go with me and he would happily stay home anxiety free. Well, today I had to go home at lunch to check on Bella. WHAT A FREAKIN' MESS!!! She somehow got the gate open to the kitchen and preceded to tear up the garbage and eat everything she could. Well, with her allergies, it all came right back out the other end! Poop and pee all over along with the trash. Took me an hour to clean up and mop 3 times.
Ok, so it wasn't really that bad.......just a waste of an hour. And that look on her face, knowing she was doing wrong just broke my heart. Of course, she hid from me as soon as I washed her up. And poor Buster knew someone was in trouble, and thought it was him so he hid in the laundry room leaning up against the washer trying to disappear. Lily, just sat in her crate whining cause she was being ignored. She is sooooo lame when it comes to sensing my emotions. She just wanted me to give her cuddle time and really didn't care I was upset at all.
If they all weren't so dang cute!!! Good thing they love to cuddle or I would be totally insane by now! And yes.....Bella is still staying even after all the mess. She is a true scavanger......and a very good one at that! I'm sure her itchy, red skin is bugging her by now. She is just being as quiet and as still as she can, hiding under my desk. What a good girl! LOL right!

Bella, Bella, Bella, don't you know you must not eat garbage indiscriminately , you have allergies, silly girl. Poor Mom, what a mess to come home to . I know that "I'm in trouble" look, Oscar got a UTI and had an accident, and I had to keep telling him I knew it wasn't his fault, I wasn't mad at him, etc, etc. It really is a good thing that they are so dang cute and love to cuddle. I am so happy for Bella that she is staying, even after today. Here's hoping that his incident is the last of the high drama for a long time.

So happy to hear that Bella (even after today) is in her forever home. Can't help but love them to pieces even when they're bad!! Thanks for giving her a wonderful home.
