Thanks Tracey, doing ok actually. Went to see mum on Friday and she wasn't as bad as at our last visit.
Got a meeting with the psychiatrist on Thursday to discuss things. They're thinking of giving mum ECT.
It's just really odd here without her and we miss her but we know that her coming back home to live is probably not a good idea. I just wouldnt be able to go to work and leave her, I'd be paranoid.
The only thing that keeps me sane at the moment is the dogs.

I went to see her tonight and she wasnt too bad. The visit I had the other night was terrible, she wouldn't speak apart from to say she didn't want to live anymore
Tonights visit was nicer thankfully, she actually smiled and that lifted my spirits tremendously.

I just caught you story and I wish there were somthing I could say to help you. Depression to that extent is so very difficult to handle for both the patient and the family. My BF's father was so depressed that he did commit suicide and so I in a sense I do know what you are going through with that end of the situation. I hope there is some sort "answer" that will come along and help your family. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers along with MANY healing vibes. May you all find peace.

Glad to hear your Mum was feeling better on your last visit. I think of you all often, and continue to keep those positive vibes going out to you.

Tracey, I'm so sorry you're family is going through this. Please do as some advised you before.......continue to stand your ground and tell them that you cannot have your mum at home for now. I know it makes you feel guilty but do not!!! It is not your fault and I'm sure you have and will do all that is humanly possible for her. But honestly, your responsibility is to your own husband and children! To keep them safe, physically AND mentally and also to keep yourself safe and healthy so you can be there for them. You must protect yourself from getting down, physically and mentally. How on earth would they expect you to keep her at home, and go off to work also??? That is not even safe for your mum! Just please protect yourself and family and we will keep you in our prayers. I'm sure your mum does feel terrible and unworthy to live but that's the illness and it won't help her, if you let yourself be used by the authorities and take her in, when you feel in your heart that you cannot do it. So hang in there, love, and know that others care!

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts & prayers.
They're taking her to get her hair done tomorrow so hopefully when I visit her tomorrow night she'll be in a bright mood.
Her new thing is worrying to the point where she is wringing her hands and saying that 'something is drastically wrong'. I have never even heard her use the word drastically before?

I am sure they have done this already, but have they done bloodwork on your mom? So many things can affect your mood if they are off.
Still sending you, your mom, and your family positive healing vibes.
