My sweet baby girl.

It has been awhile since I have been on but now I need to talk. I know this is going to be long but please bear with me.
You see on March 1st 2007 I got the phone call every parent has nightmares about getting. My sweet Daughter Terri Lynn and her 2 yr. old baby had been in a horriable car wreck.
She was about 2 miles from home. A lady from here in town that knew her come to get me and take me to the site of the wreck. I get there before the emergency workers. I saw my daughter hanging in a barbed wire fence. Her SUV was setting about 20 feet away. Her baby was strapped into her car seat and was fine. Terri did not have her seat belt on and was thrown from the car.
We life flighted her toTulsa where she was seen by some of the best Trama Dr.s They told us her chest was crushed and her back was broken and she had severe head trauma. They said she would never walk again. We could handle that. Her head was in bad shape but on Sat. she was doing great. SHe was asking ?'s by writing and blinking to answer ?'s. We really felt she would make it. Then she took a turn for the worst and they had to operate on her brain. She had 3 surgerys in less than 72 hrs.
Terri Lynn slipped away from us on her 23rd birthday March 12, 2007. She fought for her life for 12 days but in the end her little heart just could not go on.
I am not asking for simpathy just say a prayer for her little girl. ANd in her name EVERY time you and your loved ones get in a car but your seat belt on. Had Terri had hers on she would have been OK. PLEASE do not let my sweet baby girl die for nothing. put your seat belts on and buckle up those babies.
Terri was an organ doner and she was able to donate a few things most organs were to damaged from the treatment but her heart valves and some tissue and bone were donated.
Please buckle up!!!

Oh my goodness... My heart just breaks for you... A pain I cannot and do not want to imagine. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I will hold my kids a little tighter tonight and say a prayer for your beautiful granddaughter.. Know that you are in thought and prayer and if you need anything we are here.

I am so sorry that you lost you beautiful daughter and that you granddaughter lost her mother. I won't pretend that I can imagine your pain because I can't. But please know, that you, your daughter, granddaughter and all of your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
