I now all too well what your friend is going through - my own mother and MIL were seemingly fine one day, and were diagnosed with terminal cancer the next. Will keep your friend and her family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time ~ Cathy

I am so sorry for your friend. I know how it feels losing my mother to pancreatic cancer when she was 48, diagnosed and then gone in 2 weeks. It is 4 years later and it still hurts. There is not one word that can make you feel any better all you can do is feel the pain and work through it. I am sending my prayers and healing vibes to your friend.

Wow! Definitely keeping your friend and her family in my prayers. I lost my mom to breast cancer 12 years ago, not anywhere near that quickly, but it was a year from the time we found out to the day she passed. It's scary how quickly cancer can take over.

Your friend and her family are in my thoughts. Cancer is such a horrible disease, I truly hope they find a cure for it one day. I have a co-worker who has had stage 4 cancer for a couple years. It was being held with simple meds and drips but now is back full blown again with three new tumors. Dr's wont operate on her and she knows it is just a waiting game until the meds stop working. But they only gave her a few months when they originally diagnosed her is a major plus since that was a couple years ago. I can only admire those people who've heard the diagnosis and are strong enough to fight back both mentally and physically. I truly believe that the more positive and upbeat you are helps out tremendously. Sorry to hear your friends mom was so far advanced when they found out. Please give her my condolences.

I have lost 2 people dear to me through cancer and another in the later stages now. It is terrifying how quickly this horrible disease can take over.
