Sounds to me that the little man has chosen you . I wish you all the luck in the world, I too don't think I could live without a fuzzy whirlwind in my house again.

I'm a believer in the pup will chose you. Do you have the oportunity to go meet them? We got our now 17week old pup after our previous dog Lady died. I wanted a fawn female but after meeting them a dark brindle "picked" my daughter and I. Wouldn't change her for the world, she could sense we had broken hearts and needed her in our lives. Best wishes to you and your soon to be new addition.

Major is my first Boxer and he is a male... He is the best little cuddler! I, too, agree that if you're thinking you want a male since Dharma was your baby girl, then a male is what you should get. Major is so hardheaded at times, but I guess that's how all puppies are. I wouldn't trade him for the world! I wish you the best of luck!

Our two boys are very sweet and have to be with me at ALL times. They both wait for me outside the bathroom door! My friend has both a male and female. Her female is very b****y and her male is like ours. Our boys have never marked in the house, of course on walks or out in the yard it's the most important thing!

Thumbs up

My boy is so awesome. He came to you the first day and never ran off or got "smart" at all. Both my girls (love them to death) are bossy, controlling and too smart for their own good. My puppy (girl) just knows she's smarter and faster than me and if I don't have a treat on me, she refuses to come. My boy, Skye, is really loving and affectionate and easy going--he's the first male dog I've ever had too. So go male this time.
