Which one to choose?

We want to get a playmate for our three year old boxer Clyde. We have visited several boxer breeders in our area but have not found one we felt comfortable with. I am Boxer crazy but the opportunity has arisen for us to get a pit bull puppy from a very reputable breeder. Would this breed of puppy be a good brother for our boxer. I guess I just need some opinions since I had my heart set on a Boxer.

Pit bulls are wonderful additions to boxer homes! One of Rowdy's best buds is a pittie girl and they play so well together. They are a sturdy breed and are able to handle the rambunctious play of the boxer.

Wink

I just found a stray pitbull pup last week and we have decided to keep him (we couldn't find his owners). I think he is a GREAT playmate for our boxers. Here is a couple videos of him rough housing with them:

And on top of that.......Kaybie has grown up with pitbull friends and they've been GREAT playmates.

This was a foster dog of mine, a pitbull named Kaylah......(all the growling in the video is actually baby Kaybie! LOL)

And this is Tyson, my friend's old pitbull (RIP)......he was Kaybie's BEST friend in the world

Yes I think a pitbull and boxer would be a great combination. As the previous poster said the pit is a sturdy all-out dog and would enjoy the full speed ahead, body tackles that my SuzyQ thinks are normal play.
