meeting new puppy

Does anybody know how old puppies have to be before a breeder will let you meet them to determine compatability?

I think it may vary depending on the breeder, but a lot of breeders will have a puppy or two already chosen for you by asking questions that would help them decide which puppy has the temperament that would best fit with your family/lifestyle and your specifications. I know some breeders might allow people to come visit as early as 4-6 weeks, but some would want to wait until they are more like 7-8 weeks old.
