I just have to chime in here. I know the pups are here already but that doesn't make giving money and support to a back yard breeder any better. All you will be doing is supporting the breeding of dogs without the care they should have.
It is the same as going to a petstore and buying a dog. THE SAME!!! NO DIFFERENCE!!
Now if she was gonna give the pup to you that would be a different story. I would not be buying a pup from a BYB period. I know Max was from one. But, when you know better than you have a responsibility to do better. Do not support this BYB.
