Found a Breeder...

Well I've found a breeder in my area that has pup's ready to go in 2 days. So my question for you is what should I ask when I call about the puppies? I did this when I was looking for a truck, I would find one that caught my eye, get on the phone, and COMPLETLY forget what I should have been asking! I know I need to ask about the parents being health tested....but what else? The only other question I can think of is a nit pick question(I really want my dog to have the color markings like the picture in the top left corner of BW). So what else do I need to add to my questions?

Thanks!!
Doug

Well, I would ask extensively about the health testing, as that is really one of the most important things:

www.boxerworld.com/health_testing

Rather than asking the question, "do you health test?", I would ask them for copies of the following tests:

Holter Monitor
OFA Heart
OFA Hips/PennHip
OFA Thyroid
CERF

Good luck

Whatever you do DONT look at the puppies until she has shown you hard copies of those tests. We all know how easy it is to look at puppies and forget all about the important stuff
