Happy Birthday Donna....couldn't let the occasion pass without marking it in some special way, so I wrote a poem.....So here goes.....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DONNA 1969
Here's a little Birthday rhyme,
For a friend in space, yours, and mine,
With a heart of gold, She spends her time,
Chatting with us, her pals on line.
Donna 1969
She is full of wit, and very funny,
And to Echo and Carson, She is mummy,
To us, She is words on a page,
37!..quite an age.
She makes me laugh, and cracks me up,
With stories of those little pups.
Compassion too, in sadder times,
With a heart so big, her goodness shines.
You make me laugh, you really do,
With funny stories, old and new,
When they made you Donna,
They broke the mould,
37!!..that's not old!
If I could send to you, a special gift,
Just a thought, how 'bout this,
A nice big bowl of Eels and mash,
Topped with a candle, for your Birthday bash!
Although you are a Yankee girl,
I always tell my mates,
I've just read a post from Donna,...
A Cockney from the States!
Though many miles between us,
A hill round every bend,
It makes me very proud to say,
That Donna, she's my friend.
Have a really lovely birthday,
A day without a frown,
All the best from this old Cockney,......
AND KNEES UP MOTHER BROWN!!!!!
Have a great day, and may all your wishes come true!
