Unhappy Kid Shopping Woes

Why does Wal-Mart put their things in jars right at the same level as a kid in a cart?!?!? I was getting coffee, and there was a group of people talking right there, so I had to park my cart and reach between the group to grab the canister. Right as I turned around, I saw my 1 year old daughter had reached out and grabbed a jar of olives (EW!!!). Apparently she decided they didn't look very good, so she dropped them. Of course, they shattered, and all the people that had been talking were now staring at me. I would never just leave a mess like that, especially one w/ broken glass, and luckily I saw that at the other end of the aisle, there was a Wal-Mart employee. I went down there to tell her what had happened, and get this. She rolled her eyes at me, sighed very loudly (it was more like a huff actually), and stomped off mumbling something like, "I can't believe this!" Like my little girl is the first person to ever break something at Wal-Mart. At least I told someone. And its not like I wanted her to do it!!! I guess next time I will bring my cleaning supplies w/ me in my purse!!!!!

I try so hard to avoid Walmart because of these reasons! When people have the audacity to look at me and treat me like I'm inconveniencing them because they are having a conversation and I'm trying to shop, I push my way through them while excusing myself, and if given any attitude, I look at them and say "WHAT?" (when said in an exasperated, fed-up way they usually shut up). I wish people would just be more considerate and take their conversations outside to the parking lot so the rest of us can get our shopping done!
As for the rude employees..they're a joke and I just laugh at them! Everyone has to work for their dollar...like it or not, they're no different! Kudos to your daughter for ensuring that at least one person in Walmart that day earned their dollar!

I never noticed all the rude employees at our walmarts, sometimes the real young ones are kinda crappy acting though. I just like to go watch the crazy people--and I stock up on the bargains too.

I went to Walmart yesterday with my mom. As we're going down the isle, theres a group of about 5 or 6 people right in the middle. I stopped the cart, waited for a minute for someone to let us by. One guy looked at me a few times, and when he didn't move, I said "excuse me". He actually had the nerve to look at me, and then casually look around as if I was supposed to go around the large display so he didn't have to move. Why do people have to be so LAZY!!!
