Kid Shopping Woes
Why does Wal-Mart put their things in jars right at the same level as a kid in a cart?!?!? I was getting coffee, and there was a group of people talking right there, so I had to park my cart and reach between the group to grab the canister. Right as I turned around, I saw my 1 year old daughter had reached out and grabbed a jar of olives (EW!!!). Apparently she decided they didn't look very good, so she dropped them. Of course, they shattered, and all the people that had been talking were now staring at me. I would never just leave a mess like that, especially one w/ broken glass, and luckily I saw that at the other end of the aisle, there was a Wal-Mart employee. I went down there to tell her what had happened, and get this. She rolled her eyes at me, sighed very loudly (it was more like a huff actually), and stomped off mumbling something like, "I can't believe this!" Like my little girl is the first person to ever break something at Wal-Mart. At least I told someone. And its not like I wanted her to do it!!! I guess next time I will bring my cleaning supplies w/ me in my purse!!!!!
