Gentlemen...start your engines!!

WHOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Allright fellow Nascar fans.....the time is near!!
We've got coals on the grill (even though it drizzling rain here and dreary...about 50 degrees), fridge full of beer and raring to go! I took the day off and was going to do a fancy-schmancy buffet but we said to heck with it...we just wanted hotdogs, burgers and some chips!!
Wanted to go , but this way i DO have my OWN personal restroom just feet away! We have a big screen tv in our bedroom with a couch in front of it....
Just checkin in to see what you all have going on for the BIG DAY!!???

I'm from Pa and I sure as heck didn't miss it. The ending was great. It could have only been better if Gordon wouldn't have won LOL.

my dad is a nascar nut and took over the tv in the living room, and I didnt want to go into my room to watch tv because it has bad insulation.. so its freezing in there. So i was forced to watch the race..ive only ocaissionally watched here and there for about a half hour..but thsi time I actually got into it! It was so exciting at the end with the 2 crashes one after another. My dad used to go to the daytona all the tiem so I was askin him all these questions like wheres the guy who talks to the drivers sitting if he can tell them to stay high or low to avoid a crach.. how do the rvs get in the middle.. do they get to drive on the track to get there.

I may watch more often.. I do like Earnhardt Jr..and Kasey Kahne...and i dislike Jeff Gordon.. My dad is a rusty wallace fan.

I thought the race was awesome. I'm a Stewart fan through and through...but knew in my heart of hearts he wouldn't pull it off. He had one heck of a weekend though! Gatorade duels and his first ever Busch win! My husband is a Gordon fan, and although I razz him about Gordon all the time, I have nothing against him at all. He's an awesome driver. Can I ask why everyone dislikes him so much?

I am not sure why everyone heates him so much... I personally don't like him b/c I think he is an arrogant jerk & b/c he supposedly cheated on his wife - very wrong! I am not sure about everyone else though...

It was exciting, particularly at the end. Why I don't care for Gordon....besides his obvious arrogance...my explanation is that he's like a "ball hog" only it's Nascar instead of a ball game. Gordon this, Gordon that.....give it up & let someone else have an opportunity.

I agree with anything anti-Gordan!!! He is an arrogant jerk! It is all about HIM!

I pretty much like all of the drivers, especially the "older" guys... Texas Terry Labonte, Michael Waltrip, Dale Jarrett, Rusty Wallace, Mark Martin you guys get the picture......the ones in Nascar before it was cool....the one that have made Nascar what it is today!!!

I have said it every race for the last four years though.....Nascar will NEVER be as good as it was before we lost Dale Sr.! Don't get me wrong I think the new generation is great (especially JR. and Stewart) but NO ONE will ever be as great as Dale Sr.!!!!
