Buying House

I'm stressed! In the process of trying to buy a house! The Survey is due to get done on Friday morning.... don't know how house sales work anywhere else but in Scotland it is a pain in the bum..... House will go on the market at Offers Over what ever then it just goes to a kinda bidding war so the one with the most pennies wins or should i say the person putting themselves in the most debt win. It's a very scary and stressfull time. Just apid £200 to get the survey done and i still might not even get the house!!!!!!! sorry just needed a moan...... i hate all this waiting about god only know when i'll find out if i've actually got it or not! The survey will be in next week some time, then we'll need to make an offer and wait and wait and wait til someone gives me an answer...... God i'm way to impatient of a person for all this i'm going to explode! I'll keep you all updated on any news but for now keep your fingers toes and all crossed for me!

I would definately agree with you that buying a house is very stressful no matter where you live! Try and not stress out to much. Good luck to you & keeping our fingers & paws crossed that you get the home you want.

Yes it's stressful but worth it in the end! Here in the US we don't do a survey (or anything else) until there is a signed contract and the house is yours. Good luck!

Survey has came back everything is ok. Only a few cracked roof tiles that need repair so all we have to do is make an offer and wait! Only question now is how much? Oh to many life changing decitions to be making! It's scary biscuits!

Wow! I hope all goes well and you get the house! I know where you are coming from! We bought our first house in 2001 and are now waiting for our new house to be finished being built. They have sucked every penny we have out of us....ok maybe we suckered ourselves into a few options too many You must be just on edge! It is such a nerve-racking process! Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Keeping them crossed! Same thing happened to us! We had to buy the new place or someone else was gonna snatch it up and we still owned our house. Luckily our house sold after being on the market only three weeks! That was a sigh of relief! Hang in there! I am sure it will all work out

Everythings Crossed

Hope you get your new home. To bad you don't live in the Mid-West because I'm getting my house ready to go on the market. Don't have a clue about where I'm going to move. Sure hope it's not my truck:-) The dogs would get the cab and I would be stuck in the bed!

Anway, good luck
